Great place to go if you're up north, hasn't been too overcrowded like some of the other board game cafe's I've been to. The menu has a wide variety of options and much more of a selection than I've seen at other similar places. Not too many options for board game selection but they have some of the staples and a few rare gems, and ofc you're welcome to bring your own. Servers have always been very attentive and helpful and if anything isn't available they let us know as we were sitting down. I recommend this place 5/5!
Nice atmosphere with boardgames to play with after eating. They serve Cavendish fries which are one of best french fries out there. I found the fried chicken to not be well seasoned and the hollandaise sauce a bit too overpowering. Still all yummy and filling. Pancakes were a bit on the dense side.
Tried this place for first time. They had a good menu with good mix of breakfast lunch and dinner items. Tried their pork bowl and it was very good. Would like to return and try other menu items as well. Open late on weekends. Nice quiet space for studying or chatting with friends. Also has a collection of board games available for customers.
The waffles were amazing! So happy to have this cafe open up in the area. I was looking for a brunch place to open after 5pm so I can get food and do some work. The later closing hours are definitely a plus! But regardless the food is amazing! I will be back to try the brunch menu.
Word of mouth, that’s usually how we check out new restaurants these days.
Atmosphere is very laid back, clean and very welcoming. We came here at Noon on a weekend which is like a big no-no since everywhere you go is pack. This place had ample room and lots of table. It’s a lot bigger than what you think. First thing we notice when entering is that they had board games available for people to play and eat (bonus points), which meant the table were designed big enough and they even had a huge table of 8 (couch seating) which we might have to take advantage one day.
Food: I had the Piggy Benny which was pretty good. Wasn’t expecting fries but glad they came with it cause I was craving for some fries. The bowl was tasty too. The Benny’s are only available for brunch but it’s great to see the rest of the menu is available till close. So chicken and waffles, pancakes and others are good to go for those late night cravings.
Would definitely come back later in the day and try out the other food. Maybe the pancakes on a late evening. Service was great also.
