Big Beef Bowl 牛大碗

New location is bigger and much more spacious. Delicious hot bowl of soup with customizable noodle size.

Large portions - the large was only $1 more than the small size so we obviously upsized! We ordered the beef brisket and lamb noodle soup. They provide then option of a flat or round noodle and a diff thickness of noodle. Both noodles were $10. Good amount of flavour, not much toppings though. Meat was tender and fall off the bone. The broths were a bit on the salty side. We also ordered the shanghai baos - good but not as flavourful. Food came out quickly.

Not big fan of China noodles but gave this place a try anyways looked to have good ratings, pop in wast too busy but after awhile it was flowing for dinner time. Had 2 appetizers, grilled mushroom and eggplant like those the most, again I confirm not my favorite noodle and broth made a mistake got the thick hand cut noodles again. I think the thinner one would be better the clear broth beef was okay it's pretty much typical taste to at least the one I have bee too.

This restaurant makes hand pulled noodles. There are eight different flavours of noodles you could choose. You can also choose the type of noodle (round and flat / thin, regular, and thick). I had the classic beef bowl and enjoyed the broth as well. The portion sizes are really good too. I was filled up by eating a small size, although paying an extra dollar for the large is worth it too. The Shanghai pan fried buns are also a great treat. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere as well. Although the chairs are kind of tough to sit on.
