Warm and smiling staff. Broccoli soup suggestion on a winter noon was very helpful. It was delicious. The main course was also good. The portion is quite big, we couldn't finish the entire stuff. The price is slightly high otherwise the place is good for a business or casual lunch.

The food and service here are so good it totally go over my expectation. They have a musician that knew multiple languages who would sing and play different musical instruments. He can literally pick any songs you ask. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere cosy with great atmosphere, fantastic services, and delicious food!

Had a wonderful meal as a family yesterday. We were not disappointed with our choices, and so stuffed we had to bring some of our entrees home (in order to take advantage of dessert! Service is gracious, and you cannot beat the very talented musician, who would play the guitar around the table, sometimes singing, and also playing various classical tunes on the piano in the centre of the restaurant. I was seriously impressed this musician was so wordly that on top of singing and playing many famous English musical tunes, this seasoned (European?) gentleman played the most famous Teresa Teng's song on the piano beautifully. Thank you for the trip down memory lane to my childhood!

In reading other reviews, I found some comments about the decor. Let me give you my two cents. When you google Carmelina it says specifically 'ancient roman decor' and that is a very truthful statement. It is not outdated! That would be similar to saying many Greek restaurants one visits where the decor is blue and white, and stucco treated would be outdated. It is simply on theme with the description you find.

Staff were most attentive and friendly. We were happy and comfortable, and happy to return sometime!

Very well kept and accessible place. They provide generous meals and for fair prices. We loved the food a lot and the waiters were very attentive and chatty. I recommend this place.

Been here twice. Service is great. They had music playing tonight which was incredible. The same gentleman played piano and guitar. Food is excellent and honestly reasonably priced. I wouldnt call the prices “fine dining” but the food definitely is.

Read reviews that called the decor outdated - it’s classic for sure. Something that everyone can appreciate.
