Their drinks and dessert are good and there's a large variety. I'd say that they're best known for their shaved ice, which comes in a portion size that should be shared. However, each person dining in must order something - so two people can't go in and just share a bingsu.
Foodwise, they have a lot of choices. There can be a lot of children here because they are more spacious than other similar places. They also have $6.99 kids meals. Weekend lunch meals are $12.99 which is a meal that comes with a drink as well.
For some reason, I always get a stomachache every time after I have their food (not the drinks and dessert though). I must be intolerant/sensitive to something. Hence the 3/5 stars.
I'd recommend them for dessert though. Note that it is CASH only.
Nice place for Taiwanese food and friendly staff. The prices are a little expensive compared to Papa Chang's and other places, however. Food is delicious, nonetheless.
Visited around 1-2pm on a Wednesday so it wasn’t too busy.
My cousin and I both ordered the Satay Seafood Hotpot per the waitresses recommendation of it being one of their best soups. Wasn’t good. I think the instant noodles you get at Asian super markets for less than a dollar have better flavour. And it was supposed to be “seafood” but there was one tiny clam, one shrimp, and a bunch of fake crab meat and fish balls. Wasn’t filling, but also not worth finishing.
My cousin ordered the Cool Lime Slush which I think he enjoyed. The dessert was probably the best part though. We ordered the Bubble Milk Tea Avalanche which was a great size to share for 2-3 people. Really cute, and tasty.
Service was fast and servers were nice. Overall had a good experience. Just don’t eat the seafood hotpot lol ...
Food here isn’t way too bad. When you come here, expect average quality and Taiwanese-style cooking, and food. Restaurant also sells deserts like mini cakes. Service is nice, pretty quick and people have good attitudes. Overall a good place to go for lunch. This restaurant takes Apple Pay.
Serving sizes are quite big for the amount you pay. Good selection of soups, noodles and iced desserts. Friendly staff that are multilingual so ordering won't be an issue if English isn't your primary language. Ambience isn't loud even when the restaurant is full. Sit in and takeout options are available.
