Very nice and clean atmosphere. I liked their restaurant design using walls to separate some tables for a more private setting. Decent service. The food is excellent and fresh. However, it is mandatory that you finish all the food or else you pay extra. I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars but I couldn’t because the prices are very expensive.

Legend Pot is located in a busy plaza on the corner of Woodbine and Warden in the same plaza as T and T supermarket. My family and I came here on a Tuesday night for dinner and there was 6 of us. I did make reservations for us and we were greeted and seated right away, the table was a very long one that can seal probably 10 or 15 people on each side. There is no real separation from the people beside you but it works for the space they have so be prepared to possibly sit next to strangers if you have a big group. They also have a few large private rooms for bigger parties and also booth seating if you have 4 or less, each table has individual electric burners so no need to share that communal with the table.

The quality of food I think I would rate it around 4-star and as for service 3-star. The meat was really fresh looking and thinly sliced, but the portion wasn't a lot per order probably about 6 to 8 slices per plate. We were disappointed that many items were "sold out" when we asked for it ie. no wonton, no beef balls, no wood ear mushrooms.

The price is a little steep I found for weekday per person was $29.99 Monday to Thursday and additional $3 for weekends and holidays. There are plenty of option for soup base but each one is paid around $4 to $6 per pot, most places offer at least the plain soup at no charge another disappointment. Oh and these prices are cash only if you want to use credit card there is a surcharge added on top. 6 adults on an Tuesday evening ran us just shy of $300 after tax and tips and surcharge.

Their service was meh our pots never got stock refilled which is a must for hotpot. We had to search for the servers to order additional items and add stock to the pots and also water refill. We were not very pleased. 2 of us were done eating and the rest was still eating and the server came and dropped off 6 melona ice cream bars, I asked them to take it away as the 4 of us were still eating and the ice cream would melt.

Won' be seeing me here anytime soon.

    Fei Jai out!
