Starving Artist Waffles & Espresso

It's a cash only restaurant, the ambiance is nice - beautiful artwork on sale, black hanging lamps, the tables are always clean and neatly set. The design of the restaurant is remarkable. The food is good, it's a little pricey though, but honestly what isn't in this city.

Cash only! Make sure you bring cash because they dont accept debit/credit cards. You also have to pay at the front, they don't bring your bill to the table.
This place is very bright and welcoming, bigger than the Toronto locations.
The price point is amazing for the amount of food you get.
This has definitely become one of my favorite spots for brunch.

A nice brunch restaurant that serves most of their dishes on or with waffles.

Ordered the spicy chicken (grilled not deep fried) and waffles that comes with a side salad and your choice of potato salad or Maple beans.

For dessert ordered the strawberry and bananas on a waffle with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Wait wasn't too long but made sure to call ahead asking how busy they were as they do not take reservations.

I've gone twice now and have been very pleased overall. Waffles are delicious and the service is great. Good coffee too! However, the sides they offer could be improved. They also only take cash which is quite inconvenient.

Will definitely be back again!
