McDonald's

they don't have salads here even though every mcdonalds has salads. their food tastes meh. the steels + bathurst mcdonald's is a lot better. has everything and tastes so much better.

Still in shock! A store manager in a position of power turned an employee's takeout "order error" into a public bullying, verbally abusive, intimidating, deflamation-of-character situation to deflect from the "real issue" an employee "order error" for the store he had managerial responsibilities for!

The "REAL ISSUE" I had paid for an order and received part of it. It was quite not clear the manager had interest in, was he unable or willing to, calmly discuss the "real issue" a missing children's Cheeseburger worth a measly $1.89 + tax on a $24.26 order.

Sadly, the rest of the order was bad piping hot and fresh. The store was dirty, the staff was friendly and the location conveniently located inside Walmart. The staff was doing their most to fulfill orders at a busy time when the "order error" occurred.

Sadly the manager turned an opportunity to rectify what appears to be an honest "order error" into a public embarrassment once but twice the same evening.

I had gone back a second time that night after a Walmart Customer Service Representative I spoke to recommended I go back again. She advised me it was the manager's job to deal with the problem.

I went back again to no avail. The manager just repeated the same public abuse and accusations. After reviewing other Google reviews it does appear to be an isolated incident.

Hopefully, the error with my order was only caused by a "human error". Quality-control, possible staffing and management problems should have caught the error before it occurred. At the very least the manager should have stepped in and dealt with the situation more appropriately after the fact.

Many employees and customers were around when the manager repeatedly called me a "LIER" so loud it radiated from behind the counter and into the store. I'm sure what is going on at that store, but it needs intervention!

Prior to going into the store I had called the store twice after discovering the order error. anyone answered their phone. A Google search indicated the store was still open until 11 PM. Unfortunately it was too late for me to go back for a $1.89 Cheeseburger.

Going to the restaurant in person to cuss the matter later was another lost opportunity for the store to rectify the problem honourably.

Hopefully senior management and/or corporate head office will investigate this store's problems. The store definitely has way bigger problems than just a simple "order error" worth at most $2.24 tax included.
