    Nice place with good food. Seemed very popular for large groups. There was live entertainment - he was performing Italian songs. He was good, but the volume was so loud it was incredibly hard to hear the person I was having a conversation with. Went home with a headache from the noise.

    After being turned down by a nearby restaurant, we called Via Mercanti and asked if they had space for 3, they went ahead and set a table for us right away! The food was delicious, portions are quite large and the complimentary bread was fresh and steaming hot! The service was good too.

    Food is awesome but we learned after ordering there are specials. We came back another night with our parents and again the staff didn’t tell us the specials for the night, I had to ask and then was told. The specials were off the hook.

    A beautiful restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. The deep dish pizza is one of the best in town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for Italian food lovers!!

    Amazing food, service was good until it got busy then we were ignored for 20 to 30 mins at a time. Asked other waiters and waitresses for the bill and they'd run away.
    Perhaps more staff would be beneficial
    The food however is great! True authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is decent as well
