Food is wonderful, atmosphere is amazing, staff is nice and attentive. The wait time is a bit long, but it's completely understandable, as all of the food is made fresh and in-house.
Loved the smoothies, food and atmosphere of Blendz. Tried the korean bar bq bowl and it was fantastic along with the PB&J smoothie. Would have given a 5 star but service wasn't the greatest as there was not enough staff to help customers.
I'm not a vegan. And when I hear "vegan menu", I have to admit the uninformed side of me expects boring and tasteless, where you have to convince yourself it tastes good but really you'd never order it again. Not the case at Blendz, not at all.
I've had lunch there a few times and can say under that context that they are consistently friendly and efficient, as well as thoughtful in ways that aren't asked for but very much appreciated. That's rare in food service. And so far the food itself has been legitimately excellent. People overuse words like "awesome" and "excellent" because they're too afraid to say mediocre when that word might apply. Blendz is NOT mediocre.
Sadly I've only had one smoothie so far and based on that, I don't know why I'm not down there more often. As I write this review, the August (2019) smoothie of the month is Ruby Red (rhubarb/strawberry) so that's on my hit list for sure.
A great place all around and something I look forward to each time.
I have really enjoyed everything I have tried at Blendz. Everything is absolutely animal product free. I'm not even vegan, but everything tastes so good that I don't care. Well done guys!
I wish this place existed in every town! Finally a place with delicious, clean, healthy, but also indulgent options that also primarily plant based/vegan.
I had the Grilled Cheese and Chunky Monkey smoothie with protein added. Although it came to $20 after a tip, I felt it was money well spent.
My only complaint is that I don’t live in Pembroke and won’t be able to frequent this place on the regular.
