    Deffiantly recommend this place. Food was amazing and good portions. Amazing customer service and they gave me extra tartar sauce just like i asked for free of charge . Will be getting from this place again. Was delivered with doordash and they did a great job too.

    Finally got around to this place for the Lunch Special. Its was a good price and big portion. The batter on the Hadock was really nice and different from others. A lot of fish places in that end of town, after trying all several times this is our favorite and a must try!

    Excellent value, speedy service and very friendly waiters. An awesome spot for fish without crowds.
    A perfect stop on my way to Toronto.

    Before I tried Captain George's I read some on line comments and many said the portions were small and overpriced but I tried them anyway.
    The portions where anything but small and the prices well in line with other GOOD fish and chip outlets in Toronto and Barrie.
    I can honestly say that Captain George's fish and chips are some of the best I have had anywhere.
    There staff are friendly and service was fast
    I love fish and chips but have never found anywhere in Barrie which could meet my expectations since I move from Toronto. I now have a dependable
    source for my F&C fix
