Chois Fish N' Chips

Our server did warn us that the sauce can be quite polarizing. Some people really like it and some don't care for it. She was nice enough to get a sample of the saffron cream sauce and the spicy tomato cream sauce to see what I thought. To be honest, I didn't care for either sauce. They were both too thick and strong tasting for my palate and I couldn't imagine having all my fresh seafood coated in such a viscous overpowering accoutrement.

Friendly service, reasonable prices. The Halibut never disappoints.

Overall its really good. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the fish and the nice light batter is a bonus. The fries are a bit dry. They have good variety for sides and deserts including Kawartha dairy ice cream and funnel cakes. They also offer delivery through Skip the Dishes.

Halibut and Haddock are awesome. Batter is fluffy but not thick so it takes away from the fish. The fish is very flaky cooked perfectly. Only tried the two types so far but definitely willing to try more based in how good they were.
