Donaleigh's Irish Public House

My staff arranged a retirement party here for me. What a great time! We had the back room reserved; the pub food was timely, tasty, and hot, and the beer was excellent! There was so much lively conversation we could barely hear the tunes. The servers were accommdating and kept genuine smiles on all the time. Highly recommended!

One of my favourite spots to go for a beer and some lunch. The food is great. The atmosphere is great. And all of the staff that I've dealt with were nice!

Barrie's best Irish pub fare! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a casual atmosphere. Their menu is pub fare with a true Irish twist, the menu is unique and NOT just your typical fried bar food. I recommend the Goat cheese and Beet salad, Lobster mac 'n cheese and croissant maple bread pudding! To die for!

My husband and I were in Barrie for a charity event this morning and wanted to find a local place to have lunch afterwards. We ended up at Donaleigh's and had a very nice time. The servers were friendly and personable. They were attentive without breathing down our necks. We both had the gnocchi and thought it was delicious. We were too full for dessert, but the options sounded great; we hope to stop in again sometime just for dessert so we can each pick one and share!

Visiting from out of town, I did my due diligence and researched for popular nightspots for a nice evening out with a friend in Barrie..... What I didn't expect was to find such a great neighbourhood pub (and I mean "pub" in the best of ways) that caters to all ages. What fun to see young and old dancing and rocking to the band, Memphis Mud, who are so engaging and obviously love what they do!

The servers were two of the friendliest I have ever encountered and very efficient as they made sure that our drinks and water were regularly checked and filled. Adding to this friendly scene is the head of security, Carlos, who does his rounds around the tables and chats with the patrons all the while keeping an eye out for trouble.

All in all, it was a wonderful night full of friendly chats, great music and atmosphere.
