Atleast 4 stars. Amazing service, very nice guy that served me. I bought chicken club and western a week ago which was really really good. They didn’t have gravy which was disappointing but I guess better then them only having powdered gravy or something. The fries were good tho would have been bomb with gravy. They also didn’t have one or two other items on the menu. Which is also fine but maybe scrap that menu and print a new one on thick paper every week of the updated menu. Regardless great local place with really good food :-)

I came here to write a review and will stick to my own experience. I was alarmed and disheartened to read the reviews and find out that some people had negative experiences with the staff. I'm a big believer in letting a business know if you've have a negative experience in person or through email/letter before writing reviews online. I place tons of value in family restaurants and small businesses.. we're drowning in chain restaurants and corporations! Give a small business a chance to have a conversation about what troubled you first.

I've been here a few times because it's in my neighbourhood, but would be willing to make the trip for the breakfast if we lived elsewhere in the city. I love a good diner and although the atmosphere is lacking in my opinion, the breakfast exceeds expectations.

The bacon and rye toast are of high quality and the potatoes were seasoned beautifully. My eggs were always cooked exactly the way they should be and the coffee was tasty and hot.

The portions were big and price was decent. The staff were attentive and friendly during all my visits and were appropriately attentive.

I was able to pay with debit/credit (maybe that's a new thing? there was a sign on the window stating they accepted both)
