Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

Having heard a lot about Symposium from friends, we walked in for a quick bite and a possible drink during a road trip to Barrie. It was lunch time and the place was full (even on a Monday!!).
The restaurant Manager was kind enough to find us a table for 4 and made us comfortable! Britney was at our service and helped us to go through the menu and made it easy.
We ordered some starters and couple of Beers???? and yes it was a good beginning ????.
The Manager had suggested few dishes and yes they did live up to their names!!
Ambience was very 'alive'and it reminded me of the sports bar in Liverpool..
We tried the squid????, ???? fish, ????steak and the ????burgers and damn it was filling and worth. The 'Spin dip' aka Spinach dip was new for us and everyone loved it!!

Staff was very friendly. Our server Jake was very good. Food was delicious, both me and my wife had Eggs Benedict and it was probably one of the best Eggs Benedict in Barrie. Price was a little more than other same type restaurants but was definately worth it.

Curry Beef bowl was medium spicy and delicious. Wife had roasted root vegetables vegetarian dish and loved it. Friendly staff. Good service. Reasonable prices. Great menu and will be back again definitely.
