Taj Bistro

Its basically sauce heaven. (Literally) Steaming hot chicken dishes and vastly different tastes from dish to dish. The vegetarian plates are amazing. Will be coming back next week hopefully. Its not food, it's dessert. Elegant atmosphere too. Our server Luv was extremely pleasing and catering.

Amazing experience. Right from the moment you walk in the staff is very attentive to their customers. They are willing and great to answer any questions about the menu. Their food is exquisite the meat is very tender and flavorful. I have been to Indian Cuisine restaurants across Ontario and this was definitely one of the best. The only downside is there is very minimal seating, to ensure you can eat here at a busy time book a reservation.

Excellent food, great service, a cozy atmosphere (read small but comfortable, so if you're a VERY private person, this might not be the place for you) and some of the best Naan I've ever had. The only reason they didn't get a 5-star rating is because the prices are quite high for smaller-than-normal portions.

But if you want great Indian food in Barrie and you're willing to foot the bill, this is the place to go!!

I ordered eight samosas and because they felt that they were holding me up they threw in an extra one just for good measure! The samosas were very tasty. Service was good also. #supportlocal and make sure you head out to those restaurants that have major road repairs blocking their entrance way on Dunlop East… It will help them out dearly!
