Zio's Italian Comfort Food

We were passing through and my teenage daughter found this. I was caught off guard, we stopped in on a Saturday night, no one was in eating... plenty of take out though. Food was good. Soda was flat. Wife just requested water. I'd say stop in...my daughter ordered gnoochi, sauce was delicious.

Went for dinner. Very good food, no question there. Personalized table service was very good and server was very kind to introduce the restaurant and it's history, which was interesting. However, general atmosphere does no justice to the business. Loud TV with people switching channel often, guests with very loud cell phone ringing and commercial radio talking show as music background. But food was good...

Have been enjoying Zio's since they opened.

The veal sandwich is to die for, I can barely eat the whole thing as it is that large.

Topping are included in the price unlike other places that charge you extra.

Hubby loves the veal but his first choices are the wings.

Driving across Canada from Rocky Mountain House AB. The motel we stayed at recommended this place. It was wonderful, delicious Caesar salad, with home made dressing! Talked to the owner's parents, very friendly and welcoming. So glad we stopped by!

If you haven't been to Zio's, stop torturing yourself and go already! Giancarlo serves up hot, fresh, tasty Italian food, and has been doing it right for years. Show up casual, or dress fancy, you'll feel right at home. Dinner for two, or bring the whole gang, I promise you will be treated like family. I would give this place a sixth star if I could ⭐
