Sir Halibut Olde Stlyle Fish & Chips and more

The food was very tasty, though I picked off a lot of the batter. The onion rings were very tasty and the mushrooms were quite a different tasty experience. Staff was very friendly and the decor was appropriately fishy.

Their fish and chips are always so fresh and delicious! It's the perfect fish to batter ratio, never greasy and great portions. Their staff is so nice and I haven't found another restaurant in the area that even comes close to their fish and chips.

I realized some years later that I didn't leave a review of Sir Halibut, just a photo of a very delicious dinner.

Sir Halibut is a fantastic spot for fish n' chips with a down home feel to everything. The love and care that goes into each dish, as well as the business, is rivaled only by one's own Newfoundland Grandmother if one is fortunate enough to have one in the family.

Decor and trinkets that were available for purchase were all Newfoundland-related, giving Sir Halibut a charm and heartwarming feeling, and was enough to alleviate homesickness for me.

Fried fish, fries, dressing and gravy, and a pineapple crush make for a true Newfie dinner experience. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be going again.

Love it! We go here often, the service is always super friendly and the food is great! We always order the halibut & chips, we've never been disappointed. The portions are large and the food is made perfect! Thank you! This has quickly become one of our favorite places to visit.
