Peake Barbecue

If you want great BBQ then eat at peake, pitmaster Sean and boas lady got a good restaurant going here, great service and great food all homemade, and you can tell. You have to try the brisket platter with some homemade potato salad and pinto beans ???? finish off with a pecan pie and you won’t regret any of it.

Ive gone there two days in a row now. had the BLT (BRISKET) yesterday and the brisket grilled cheese today. they were both phenomenal. portions were good. the Brisket was juicy and very flavourful. it was a very pleasant. i will definitely be back. amazing BBQ. The Pitmaster and the Boss lady are very friendly!

I was on a motorcycle ride through this town and Googled a BBQ place. I loved the vision painted on Google as I have been to BBQ joints in the southern USA and this looked to emulate what I was looking for, but I am hoping that because we came through mid-afternoon before the dinner crowd, this would have a lot more to offer.
The owner was apologetic about not having some of the items due to a missed delivery. It was due to this, that we did not have anything to eat here and moved on after a beer.
The feel of the place is a very traditional southern BBQ joint, and the smell of the brisket cooking was fabulous. Maybe another time....

This is a must stop if you want some real Texas style BBQ... this was my first time eating here and it sure wont be my last..... I had the grilled cheese with brisket on it with a side of mac and cheese and it was great.... cant wait to stop in again.... we also chatted with the owners for a bit after the meal and it was great to see how passionate they are about there restaurant... keep up the great place. .

We made this pit stop to Peake BBQ while camping at Earle Rowe Provincial park nearby. I had the most delicious brisket! Lovely service, charming atmosphere! A must visit for amazing BBQ! Can't wait to go back for the ribs!
