Congee Star

This place is unquestionably one of the coolest place to eat in the region. Every time I come to this place I am deeply happy. They always keep their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Unpretentious Chinese fares. Good portions, reasonable prices. Not as fancy as other places nearby but a value eaters choice.

I almost feel like you can never give a five for simple Chinese food even though the portions are huge, prices are cheap, and the food generally tastes better than most douchey high end restaurants in the city. That being said, the lower ratings usually come from the fact that Chinese servers are brusque, even to the point that they either ignore you or push you out the door with the bill.

Anyhow, we ordered from Skip the Dishes, so there was none of that. The food was hot, packed tightly in good containers and on time. The one star minus was for the rice noodle rolls (skin was a bit thick), and the stir-fried turnip - not as crispy as I would have liked. Otherwise all in all, good, simple, cheap lunch.
