Nice intimate pub with really good food. I recommend the schnitzel. Live band on Saturday was a bonus too!

The schnitzel really is all it’s cracked up to be, and don’t discount the unsung hero of the red cabbage on the side! If you know what’s good for you, you won’t skimp on the mushroom sauce either—this dish is best enjoyed with all the trimmings.

This place is packed with hungry diners, and for good reason. Nonetheless, my server Wendy was very attentive, and made sure I was never lingering with an empty drink.

Add all that to a comforting, friendly atmosphere that feels like home, and you have a truly well deserved five star review for this shining local gem.

I thoroughly enjoy this Pub, anyone would! East of Port Union Rd. It is still a part of Toronto (Scarborough) but you are almost in Pickering. Food is good.

We had an absolutely delicious meal of beef short ribs that had been braised with vegetables and served over mashed potatoes. It was a seasonal special and it was great. Our server was incredibly pleasant. We had been traveling for 8 hours and this was such a welcome respite. The owner came by to check on our meal and was a delight. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

The service was fast, friendly, and very accommodating. I ordered the lamb. It came out perfect medium rare and was well seasoned. My husband ordered the Reuben and enjoyed it. We also ordered dessert, strawberry shortcake and caramel crunch. They were both very delicious. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by!
