The Grenadier Cafe

Those who visit the High Park can fortify themselves here. Everything you would expect from a typical meal is available. There are places inside and an outside terrace with sunshades. At lunchtime it can be very crowded. You order and get a number. Dishes that take longer to prepare are brought to the table. The restaurant is centrally located and there is a large parking lot. Tea is not served in paper cups. I think this is sustainable and good.

It can be very busy for lunch and on the weekend. But the food is good and not overly expensive. The have a nice patio under old oak trees.

The ribs were amazing! We also ordered a burger which was very mediocre , however the greek salad that came with it was delicious! It was a busy day but the wait wasn't too bad. The place was clean and well maintained. The outdoor seating area is lovely!

Absolutely love it here! A wonderful restaurant in the middle of a gorgeous park.. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place besides the lines being sometimes long on weekends because the food is great so people flock here. I brought a dog and he was able to sit with us on the patio which was a pleasant surprise. The food is great, cheap, and fresh!

Great affordable breakfast and lunch joint in the heart of beautiful High Park. The seating is super expansive, with no shortage of outdoor deck seating and indoor seating (plenty of booths). There is a cafeteria style section (where you order up at the front) and a restaurant section (where a waiter/waitress comes and serves you). The waitstaff are super friendly and the food hits the spot. The price is good too as there are many breakfast options under $10. It can get busy during the summer, but there is plenty of seating so availability is usually not an issue.
