True True Diner

Cute place with a fun interior and decor. We went for Sunday brunch. Very short line (20 minutes) at peak time was nice. The food was good but nothing special. However, the service was poor. Generally inattentive; never came back to check after the meals were dropped off. Person who dropped of the meals was confused and didn’t know what was on the plate or where it was to go. Disappointing at this price point.

Since partnering with notable Canadian Chef Suzanne Barr, this place has become one of the best restaurants in the city.

The menu features some very tasty, African-American inspired dishes for a solid price. They also have great coffee and offer a wide array of cocktails.

Highly recommend the Biscuits, Eggs and Ham, the Gargonzola Pizza, and the Apple Crumble Pancakes.

Really delicious food using high quality ingredients. I got the ham and eggs on a biscuit with grits, and my friend got the brick chicken - both were very satisfying!
Staff were well versed and knowedgable of the dishes and helped with good recommendations based on our questions and dietary restrictions.
Beautiful space too! Love the overall design and ambiance.

Amazing place!!!! The dishes are very unique and ingredients are fresh and made in-house!! Highly recommend the pizza, its very nice and thin, melts in your mouth, try it right as it come out the oven!! The brunch dishes are also quite special. The atmosphere of the place is like new orleans and its not expensive at all.. go true true!

Great place for brunch and and lunch. Healthy alternatives but mostly flavourful classics for brunch. Definitely good place to have a cocktail too. Parking street side.
