“Just stopped by this place a couple of hours ago, as I was craving fish and chips and it was close to home. I got one order of white fish with two pieces, fries and cole slaw for two people. It cost $14 after tax and was totally worth it! That order was more than enough for two people and tasted great! The woman at the counter was very friendly and made sure our order was packed neatly with everything we needed. We love supporting local business’ and this is definitely somewhere we will be returning with family and friends! Monday’s they have haddock on special for $8, cod on Tuesday’s for $8, and white fish on Wednesday’s for $6!”

A pretty busy place though but due to efficient staff members, wait tile is always reasonably low. Also, the store is open for late night orders too. “My go-to place for Peking duck, generous portion for very reasonable price. Meat is flavourful and skin is crispy. They serve the wraps in a set of four bamboo steamers to keep it warm for longer, and the wrap is paper thin. Highly recommended if you are craving roasted duck.”

“This is a small restaurant with pleasant customer service serving mainly rice dishes. They offered a complimentary warm coconut milk drink while getting my take out ready. It took roughly 15-20 mins to get three meals ready which is a reasonable time. The food was tasty but I was disappointed that there wasn’t one bit of heat. I guess my expectations were raised by the name of the place. I would definitely come back as the food was quite tasty but will be adding my own heat to make it perfect. See pictures for menu.”

“This place was alright. Typical whatever local watering hole. The food was tasty and the drinks cold, but service was slow. It took a long time for someone to come and take our order, there were infrequent check ins to refill drinks and we had to keep flagging down staff if we needed anything. Place looked a bit dirty / well worn which is fine, adds character I guess. I had the nachos and I must say they were probably among the better restaurant nachos I've had. Plenty of cheese but not too much, fresh toppings and the meat was juicy. I went there to meet a friend casually and it was fine. I wouldn't go there for a business meeting, it's a bit small and crowded for that. Decent TVs for watching news or the game. There was some limited free parking. If driving plan to arrive about 5-10min early so you can wait for a spot. I won't go back because it's a bit out of my way and the service wasn't great, but dang were those some good nachos. Props for that.”

“Service was good. Price was good. Food was okay. The flavors weren’t really noticeable. We had to use the bottled sauces to add flavor. Only the fried chicken had some sort of flavor to it. The onion rings were good though. It wasn’t oily as with most places. I think if they focus on making it more flavorful then this place can really be a great spot. Also the tables need to be cleaned more thoroughly. I give 5 stars because there was no terrible experience.”
