“We went there for a birthday party on December 7th, a Saturday night. It was our first visit. We didn't have a reservation but there were no problem to find a table that fitted everyone. We had beer and apps until the other guests arrived. During this time our birthday friend went to washroom and the server prompt used the opportunity to offer a free desert to her. By the time the rest of the guests arrived the server brought the dessert and we celebrated all together. It was a such good night. No rush to leave the table, which seems usual in Toronto. Fast service when requested. The server was really friendly and fun. The food was good. The beer was cold. The price was fair. It is definitely a place to return again.”

“So happy we visited this place! It is a lovely sit-down restaurant at a convenient location right around where we live. It is very family friendly, and friendly to people of all age groups for that matter. Service was amazing, with our food coming in under 15 minutes,!and our waitress was incredibly polite and helpful! The food was even better! I ordered the The Local Burger for $16 and it was the best burger I’ve had in awhile! My boyfriend ordered the Boar Meat Pizza for $19 on a recommendation from our waiter and he loved it as well! Portions were perfect to be full, but not so full you feel sick. Alcohol was very fairly priced as well especially compared to other places in the neighbourhood, and there were many great options to choose from (we didn’t order any tonight however). The overall vibe of this place was lovely as well, definitely has that cozy pub feel to it. It is beautifully decorated as well with a sort of rustic style to it. “Owners are absolutely lovely. The place looks really nice, and bright. Prices are excellent. The food is always top notch. The neighborhood kind of needed another breakfast place, and it's almost comically close to my home so I've gone quite a bit since it opened. I've been really impressed with the vegetarian options, there's quite a few options and all have been good. The egg sandwich, dolmades, pancakes, Greek grilled cheese, spicy home fries, Greek salad, Lima beans etc etc. Have all been excellent.”

“Local, quality, easy. My new favourite walk from home!!! The food was great. The service was great. And it’s a 5 min walk. I don’t need to go anywhere else. Check out the menu. Really!! No place like it. I had a curry dip with my calamari!! Who’d have thought. With wings and yam fries. Damn good wings. The Guinness was fresh. The music was good. “Family run establishment, Steve and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Steve is awesome and knowledgeable. He will take you back to show you his refrigerator and stock. If he does not have the meat, he'll do a special order with no minimums. His meats are hands down the best and the prices are worth it. My kids' introduction to beef, chicken and pork all came from Steve. His wife's family own a farm and the beef is very tender. Even the tough parts of the cow are very tender. Steve has other products such as rice balls that are amazing. His wife makes amazing sandwiches.”

“High quality burger, shakes and fries. This location had ample parking, within walking distance to York Mills subway. I wouldn't get takeout or delivery, because your food will get cold(obviously), you have to eat in. This location does get very busy at peak hours(12-3pm), based on it's seating capacity (about 24) Will come back, because their burger and creative menu beats the nearby 5guy's, and I haven't tried the chicken menu yet!”

“Visited this place for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday. The restaurant is inside a small plaza , so we can find ample parking. The interior is neatly decorated and clean. We visited them on a Monday evening and found the place almost empty. The server guided us to our tables. We ordered Thai Spring Roll, chicken Satay, Chicken wings with Thai Hot and Sour sauce for Appetizers. The service was excellent. Portion size was good when compared to the prices. Also, we ordered Grand Fried Rice and Grand Curry Fried Rice. Even though I liked the taste, I could not find any noticeable difference between the two. This place has a separate Lunch and Dinner Menu. I will definitely visit them again to try other items on their menu”

“I tried the Butter Lamb Roti (medium spice) it’s amazing! It’s a bit pricey but the portions are big, and the serving is good for 2 people. Service is really good—the cashier was nice and even served the food to our table. I recommend doing take-out than dine-in though since the place is small and the place only has a few seats. It can also get a bit hot. Other than that, the food is really good. I’m definitely going back to try other items in the menu.”

“Ordered wings, fried chicken and potato wedges here and was thoroughly surprised just how good they were for the price they charge! This place may look like its not the best as it is small and doesn't look very busy but the food is absolutely worth trying! We tried the medium hot wings, the special dry spice wings and they both were equally good! The potato wedges are also on par with fast food restaurants that are known for potato wedges. The fried chicken is also good and between soft fried chicken like KFC and crunchy fried chicken like Popeye's. Taste is on par with any large chain fast-food chicken restaurant. Highly recommend!!”
