Galito's Flame Grilled Chicken - York University

I was sceptical on the quality of food after looking at their prices. After devouring a late-night meal, I now know what makes the Galito's Flame-Grilled Chichen so special in the hearts of most York students. We ordered the chicken breast and wing with rice and fries with extra-hot spice level followed by a beef burger. The spicy breast and wing set even my Indian tongue on fire and was the only dampener on an otherwise wonderful dinner. The beef burger served also had a lot of mayonnaise and hot sauce on it. If you don't relish too much spice, you must let the server know.

The restaurant has a no-tips policy and despite that the service staff was very good. I hope they are paid well. I would definitely visit this place again.

The ambience of the restaurant is very soothing, the taste of the chicken is really awesome. I tried chicken strips with rice and chicken kabab with rice and fries. Both the dishes were well cooked and the staff is also very kind.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the service you offered on 08th Sep, when I visited your restaurant along with my friends & family to celebrate my birthday. It was one of the most memorable birthday events in my life and your staff made it even more special by offering a complimentary birthday cake.

You have definitely won me as one of your permanent customers and I would love to recommend your restaurant to my acquaintances & friends. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very soothing and relaxing. Beautiful interior and wonderful and accurately placed lighting system - neither too bright nor too dim make this place a perfect spot for celebrations. The taste of the food was just out of the world. Allow me to say that you made me nostalgic as the food tasted similar to what my mother cooks for me back at home, though this made me miss my home and mother more!

However, I have a suggestion for you. You may think of introducing some discount cards or offer some corporate discounts to the people of the nearby area. This, I believe, would make our dine-outs more pocket-friendly.

Absolutely amazing service and quality of food. I come here 4 times a week usually and that's for sure reason! Clean food and environment along with amazing service and did I mention the sauces!!! And the special ice cream. My favourite is the chicken breast combo but evrything here is amazing!

I've been to Galito's many times in the past and my overall experience was good. The food tastes great especially with their sauces which vary from mild to hot. If you're ordering fries i recommend trying them with peri salt for better spice and flavor. Owners are working there along with the staff. They're nice, helpful people and very dedicated to their work. The place overall is clean and worth giving a try. :)
