Anchor Bar

My dad and I went in on Tuesday for Pasta. He had Chicken wings and I had Buffalo Chicken Pasta, and we shared Buffalo Cauliflower bites for a starter. Loved the pasta and cauliflower ! Didn't try wings but dad ordered more. They looked very meaty. Going back for sure! Was our first time there.

Had Chicken wings, salad and watched some Football on Sunday. Quality wings by far ( I'd say 4.5 stars). Service was good and they even had people out on the patio since it was nice out for October. Service was good so I plan to return. Not sure if they have any Beer or Happy hour deals which is recommended.

Had chicken wings here today and the wings were cooked well but the flavor was lacking. The day bar service was fine, and other enjoyed their meals. Over all not bad place, just doesn't stand out as anything special.

Also found the food to be quite pricy in comparison to other places with similar food.

The first time I went to the Anchor Bar was in Buffalo, NY. We were happy to see it come to uptown Waterloo. Love the Chicken Wings and Wonton Nachos. Hoping to try some other things there soon. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is great! Looking forward to watching the Leaf's game there again this season ! Highly recommend !
