Homestyle Diner

I go here often with family and I make sure to take friends when I get the chance. The food is great, portions are sizable, and the staff are always so welcoming. The diner is clean and homey, and the chalkboard are seasonally humored, which certainly makes the place warm. This restaurant is quite popular and usually has many people, so it can be 'noisy' but not loud. An appropriate place to eat for all ages and the prices are fair. I will always recommend this diner highly either if you live in Waterloo or if you are just passing through. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Amazing, home-cooked, food. Classic eggs Benedict was perfect, smoked meat clubhouse was delicious, Turkey poutine was heavenly and the chicken fingers were nice and crispy. Great service, bright open dining area and the location is easy to find. And the pie, don't forget to get pie!!!!

Perfect diner food! Tasty, homemade and hit the spot. Great eggs Benedict (several different varieties), perfectly cooked poached eggs, crispy homefries, bacon cooked just how I like it, huge selection of pies (we didn't have any but they looked homemade), fresh daily soups. The menu had lots of other options from omelettes, French toast, and pancakes. Fresh OJ, great coffee. Service was excellent. Busy place on this morning but they are so organized and friendly.

This is a very popular place with the Senior crowd, but I was there on a weekday about nine AM...
I had the home-made farmers sausage and it was very good very meaty to the point of being kinda dry, but that is the way I like it. Skillet done home fries, but they will pop them into the fryer if you want them a bit crisper, a nice touch in my opinion
Service was friendly, efficient helpful without being intrusive , a skill not every place has mastered!
I'm pretty sure I will return.
