Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

Went for my wife's birthday and it was our first time to visit.
Great service, very delicious food, portions are great and my wife got a complementary desert for her birthday so it was such a nice gesture from the place. Definitely recommended place.

One of the best restaurants at this price point in Waterloo. Given that I have food allergies, I so much appreciate the allergy-friendly menu and willingness of staff to substitute where possible. Food and service have been excellent each time we've been.

The interior design at this branch of Symposium Cafe is really nice and modern.The booths are super comfortable. The staff is friendly and service is fast. As you can see from the pictures their presentation is very aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately the carrot cake I ordered tasted super disappointing. I make a carrot cake at home that is infinitely better. The cafe late was good, the black coffee was not good and tasted more like water than coffee. The waffle was nice but not amazing. Over all it was an average experience.

This restaurant is a great place for a meal. The food is excellent, the service fast and friendly, and the decor and atmosphere is modern and welcoming. This is an expansion of the original restaurant in downtown Waterloo. The owners have good knowledge of the restaurant business and it shows. The location is not on the beaten track, so they had to ensure the quality and service would bring in the customers.
The prices are fair, the menu selection varied, and matching the theme.
A great place for a bite or a get.together with friends.
