The Cactus Mexican Restaurant

Extraordinary dining experience.. The young waiter was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable....Every dish tasted homemade. Ingredients were super fresh. whatever you think you're getting, it's about 100x better than you can expect. Best mexican restaurant in the tri-cities, I will absolutely go back.

Came here today because I was curious and I have to say it was good! The food had flavour for the most part. I would give this place 5 stars but I love my food and I felt it was just missing a little salt other then that food was really good and they have good choices for the menu. As for service it was only okay, they were attentive but just didn't feel welcoming. Decor is simple but nice and place is kept clean!

I dined here last night, and had the beef enchiladas.
I came based on a recommendation, but was a little disappointed.

I definitely appreciate that this is a family owned and operated restaurant, and found them easy to talk to, and busying about with bowls of rice and other prepared dishes on the counters.

The decor was simple and casual, with a little mix of modern and some old Mexican style.

The food had a fresh and aromatic home cooked smell to it, which was very pleasing, however I found the flavour to be off palate for me, and a little sour.

The portion was also small and left me unsatisfied.

Lastly their prices are high.

I would go back to try another dish, but I expected more from this restaurant.

Awesome food! The flavours are fantastic. Great variety on the menu. Mole is great. Guac and chips are tasty and authentic tasting. Only observation: a bit expensive.

Great little family-run restaurant. Very authentic-tasting Mexican food. Large selection of Mexican beer and soft drinks. Offer selection of items for small children. Would definitely go back.
