Pulled into the plaza of Chao Bistro after a long day of driving and had my reservations about a Google recommend place but I'm so happy I stopped in. This place is an absolute jem. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the food was delicious. Fresh, well balanced and obviously prepared with love. Highly recommend.

Tucked away in an inconspicuous plaza is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Guelph. Ciao Bistro doesn’t look like much on the outside, but what’s inside is some truly authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Staff are incredibly friendly and very accommodating, even keeping the restaurant open late for their patrons. The Vietnamese drip coffee over ice is definitely something you want on a hot day and If you go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday you can have their hot pot which is absolute amazing! Their Banhmi’s is also a must try. Will definitely come again and highly recommend!

Excellent food, friendly wait staff. What more could you want? Oh yeah, decent portion size and great prices. Highly recommend if you like Bah Mi! Will definitely be coming back to try more.
