Visited this past Halloween as the host of a lunch interview for my job - our server was Whitney and she was fantastic! The place was bustling and she made sure to facilitate our orders and payment to make sure we were in and out and happy within an hour. A superb meal! All of our pizzas were excellent.
Been to this location and one in Hamilton and both are incredible. The quality of the food for the price is unmatched and their desserts are all delicious. I appreciate that you can choose from a few types of sides or salads to go with any sandwich you get. The focus on local, seasonal ingredients is a plus! Wish they would open more locations as the ambiance and food is always great!
The atmosphere is consistently so nice, and the food is outstanding and interesting. I especially love the alcohol free cocktails that have consideration and depth. I wish the menus indicated that there are options to customize pizzas, as friends with food sensitivities were unsure if they could be accommodated (they were!).
A quick visit into Guelph on Thursday led to a wonderful evening at the Bread Bar. Stopping in after a few errands we were very impressed. We sat on the heated , covered patio. There was music playing but it was not loud, we could sit, talk and eat without yelling. The only issue really was the menu, there is so many different things that looked really good, it was hard to decide what to have. Everyone at our table had a different meal and everyone raved about how good the food was. My wife had a half chicken that was one of the best pieces of chicken, anyone had ever had. I think it was free-range, organic or possibly university educated. It was so big she shared it with everyone.
The pizza, seafood pasta and salads were all a hit. We will return on our next visit through Guelph.
