South St. Burger

The burgers here are upscale better than your traditional fast food burger. The flavors compliment each other perfectly and the selection of different burgers is nice. The fries are some of the best in Guelph.

My boyfriend and I just finished our lunch and honestly it was so good. Even the regular fries (smallest size) was more than enough for me and tasted great. The burgers tasted awesome as well and it was cool to get to customize it to exactly how you wanted it with so many options to choose from.

My boyfriend can be somewhat ‘particular’ about food (especially burgers) but he had no complaints and absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere as well.

Prices are of course more than what you’d get for Burger King/McDonald’s but in my opinion, the high quality of the food and the incredibly kind staff make it entirely worth it, especially when you’re still getting your meal so quickly as well.

Premium food at a premium price. It was around $17 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and drink. The food was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their branding doesn't lie - the beef quality and the fries were definitely the best part. The bun was pretty good but I think I would prefer more of a brioche egg bun with the type of burgers they were serving. Still, I would definitely recommend spending the extra couple of dollars to give this place a try instead of other options.

I wouldn’t deny that this is the best food place in town! The staff is extremely polite, I’m sure the manager/owner does a great job treating/training his team. Highly recommended!! Food is as awesome as the people who work there. Gives you a little break from the ordinary burgers. My personal favourite!!
