“Adorable small cafe right in downtown Hastings. Cozy decor yet what makes the place special is seeing all the locals there. We didn’t try their pizza as we came for breakfast, two days in a row. “Stopped for lunch here, 3:45-ish, May 4. Brett was fast, cheerful, and polite at the register. Got my order super fast, faster than any restaurant I've ever been to, and it was correct and hot! All staff looked energetic and busy. Staff member whose name I didn't catch (young woman, redhead) was super sweet, helped an elderly woman with a walker get her order to her table and fetched her some extra napkins. Great atmosphere in here today; it really left a good impression on me. Keep it up!”

“Very friendly employees. Halal place. Would really recommend! They have a lot of different unique international fruits that you can not get from anywhere. You might find cheaper bubble tea in other places though. Nevertheless their bubble tea was very tasty! They had the unique fruity popping bubbles too which was a very cool and different experience! (the pooping boba is small balls similar to taopioca but it is filled with juice so when you hew it, juice pops out, its fun)”

“Our first morning in Hamilton, we had to find our way around this town, which to us, was not the most charming city ever. But then we were pointed at Democracy to have a coffee, so we went there and it was great. Super nice staff, very good coffee, perfect pies/ cakes, lots of vegan options also. Also nice to go to with kids, they have some toys and they can put chalk on the wall. Very nice place!”

“Prons: - I have visited this place for more than 10 times and can stay there almost from 2pm to 6pm as I have always ordered something with me. - My order has always been correct regardless which method I take to order (through the mobile app, the kiosk, or at the counter). - The waiting time for my order is acceptable which ranges from 10 - 30min approximately for orders of 1 coffee up to 5 burgers with 2 drinks and 1 salads. Cons: - The staff does not usually clean the table or the sits from what I have observed. - Sometimes, the lights on the 2nd floor switch off without any particular reasons or warnings from the staff during afternoon. I feel somehow uncomfortable with the darkness. - Rarely, I need to ask the staff to refill the tissues in the washrooms. - During the summer, I feel personally that the ac is really cold.”

Also they had Bombay cheese Grill sandwich and it was very awesome. It just reminded me India’s sandwich. The restaurant was clean so does tables.
