(September 29, 2019, 12:55 am)When we talk about fast food specializing in the usual roadside french fries, poutine, hot dogs and hamburgers, it doesn't get much better than this. I've been a vegan for over 3 years now and don't really miss the hot dogs and hamburgers, but the fries ... are out of this world. Yes - that good. I don't often get to Grenville-sur-la-Rouge (on the other side of the river border with Ontario's Hawksbury, but when I do Jos Patate is a very tempting pull. Think of Montreal's Lafleurs or the Orange Julep on good days. Nice on a sunny day to munch down this food and people watch. Happiness!

(August 12, 2019, 2:05 am)My family has stopped here on our way to tremblant at minimum once a year for almost 30 years! It is our favourite junk food stop, and has become a favourite part of vacation.
If you can stop here, do it! You won't be disappointed. -
