Eatalya Restaurant

We had a reservation of about 15, after a funeral.. turns out we were 40 ish. The staff got to work and seated us in a large area at the back. They were honestly on point, even though they kept being sorry for the delays, we were served in more than appropriate time for the delays amount of people we suddenly dropped on this poor restaurant.
Soup of the day was Cream of carrot.. best one I've ever had.. we were stunned! Didn't expect the richness and flavor, definitely their strongest dish.

I got the burger platter and my wife got the Coquilles St-Jacques.
The burger was plain, meat was dry, bun was good. Fries and salad were good.
My wife loved her meal, I thought it was very heavy with butter/cream. Still, she liked it so that's what counts.

Though it wasn't the best burger I had, I feel the kitchen must have been slammed by our group, and I give them mad respect on their handling of the situation. I'd definitely return in a more intimate setting!

We found this place on line, and we do not regret the experience. food was delicious and well prepared and no small portion. even my wife's Caesar's salad was something to behold, and even if the four of us are divided on how good the creme brule is, we all agreed the all our dishes could not be better.

Wow, in the heart of Lachute , and ive past by it so many times and never noticed. We had a party of 5 , and absolutly no complaints about the food, everything was fresh and the Onion soup is terrific . The chef checks out everything and is welcoming at the door as well as the owner of the restaurant. We will be there again to eat. But get there early because it fills up fast, just a warning but they do try to fit you in right away . Service is done with a smile, i kinda miss this everywhere else and no rush, its done your way . Great food gang keep up the good work.
