Great family atmosphere! Great food!

Great food great service

Sorry for the long review, but since it's a new restaurant in the area, I felt that a more in depth description was necessary.
Great food, attentive staff and nice ambiance. I just have to be honest that the only eyesore to the decor was the upper storage area which is visible to the clients downstairs. You can see all the condiments and cook uniforms and the staff turn on the lights and go upstairs regularly during service. If ever possible, it would be a great area for larger groups and parties. There was a smaller private room that was quite nice right next to the bar area.
We started with drinks. A bloody Caesar and a Shock Top. The draft shock top was refreshing, perfect size and served with a slice of orange. My Caesar was a bit small for the price and no special garnish - I was a bit disappointed. It had 2 skewers of cocktail olives and nothing else, was served a little warm and over so many ice cubes that the drink tasted watery after 5 mins-suggestion: in going with the industrial concept, serve in Mason jars with celery and pickled string beans.
For the starter -I had the tomato and mozzarina appetizer which was very tasty- and presentation was impressive. The serving size was a bit large for an appetizer and could have been slightly smaller and less expensive. My boyfriend had the Caesar salad appetizer which was excellent, but it was very large, like a full sized meal. Perhaps a smaller size or half-sized portion option could be offered.
Some little bread buns were served, however 3buns for 2 people...
For the main, I had the osso buco served on a bed of butter sage pasta, my boyfriend had the bavette with rice and steamed veggies, both were excellent and serving size just right. The wine was the highlight for our dishes. We each had a glass of French merlot-cab... Wow... Was the perfect compliment to the dinner. We did not order dessert...
Overall, it was a good experience, the staff was attentive and quick to serve, our server was polite and made great suggestions.

The atmosphere was delightful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It was a very pleasant experience. The food where do I start. Well, it's simply it was delicious.
