Typical popular cash-only Asian restaurant. I was welcomed with cold politeness, as it common to that type of places.
The food was fresh and that's what makes the difference.
We ordered not spicy beef noodles and fried rice with ham and shrimps.
The latter plate did not come up to my standards but kids loved it, so no much complaints.
The portions are huge. Seriously. One general Tao chicken serving can feed a family of three.
Best Asian food of different kinds you will find in south shore. Maybe even in Montreal. Always busy (in a good way) always amazing. Try their chow mien, it’s something else.
The food here is abundant, tastes great and there's a big variaty of dishes. The down part is that they do not accept credit nor debit cards, bit still it is worth it. Always happy to recommend it!
Amazing authentic Cantonese style Chinese food with a variety of other regional Asian styles as well.
Always packed and busy which is great just goes to show how popular it really is.
Food:
Excellent! Portion size is massive! Lots of choice and variety and sooooo tasty. Easily the best Chinese restaurant on the South Shore, hands down! Fried rice is lacking in flavour but the more traditional dishes are excellent.
Price:
Undefeated and undeniably the best bang for your buck. Price is low for the amount of food and quality of the dishes. I would opt for more traditional dishes and not like fried rice and won ton soup which are just a money grab for mediocre dishes that just don’t cost anything.
Service:
Courteous and friendly, not too chatty but they’re always willing to help. They serve food promptly and are very nice when it comes time to help for anything. Only thing is that they are never really willing to provide containers for takeaway, very minimal when it comes to providing a styrofoam container to take food home...they’ll charge 25 cents for each additional one.
If you want some quick Chinese food that is cheap with big portions, I highly recommend coming here to eat. There are a lot of choices on the menu and the service is quick. You can also see the stove where your food is cooked fresh out of the wok. However, I cannot recommend this place for the flavour. The fried rice/noodle is bland, the General Tao's chicken is too sweet, and the Wontons in the soup are more skin than meat. I only recommend coming here for quick cheap and filling Chinese food
