Ambiance is good. Service was great (Unicorn girl).
The beer selection was great and I highly recommend for somewhere to hang and drink some. This place must hop when band plays.
The food was terrible. 10 people at our table. Burgers (7) were all average and ALL the fries were mushy. The (2) Mac and cheese were watery with undercooked pasta. The shared plate had wings that were good, shrimp were dry over cooked and calamari fell apart before I could put them in my mouth. Poutine was bland and mushy. Plenty of mayonnaise.
Go here to drink and then go eat at any other restaurant in the area.
Positives: Nice ambiance, food was good (we had the tartars), great beer selection, waiter and bartender were nice.
Negatives: Hostess and person who takes reservations were unfriendly... it's the first point of contact beside the web site and it starts off sour. Hostess Sept. 3rd, 2019 seemed more interested in texting, doesn't know how to smile. Would be nice if the menus were bilingual. Waited a little long for drinks. Would also be nice if they had heaters on the patio.
A very nice restaurant with a patio where you can go out to eat and enjoy the sun. The waiters were really nice and attentive and they were able to recommend different types of beer according to our preferences. There is a very large variety of beer available here! The food was good as well. The ribs and the chicken burger are my personal favorites. The Balthazar Burger was on the drier side. I will definitely come back again!
