“No frills restaurant with limited seating. Seems a bit pricey considering their prices are comparable to an Afghan restaurant that would offer much better ambiance. The food however was pretty tasty; they could work on their portions. The restaurant does not offer the traditional Afghan naan which was disappointing. Overall an above average experience.”

“Beautiful and spacious! Friendly staff and a very clean establishment. The south shore has been missing an authentic Greek restaurant and I definitely feel like this will be the place that many will come back too for years to come!! We came on the first day Kavala opened and we were quite impressed with the plates. The chicken pitas were excellent, and the Greek salad was quite large and full of of fresh feta, vegetables and pita bread. The Greek salad had a nice dressing, however, it did contain a little bit too much salt for our liking. We found ourselves biting into large grains of salt more often than we’d like. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and we look forward to coming back again. Keep up the great work and welcome to the neighborhood.”
