Clandestin is great. I had the vegan poke bowl. My friends had the foie gras rhubarb French toast. I also had the frites they taste like dill pickles, so good. I had the stout on tap it was excellent but it has a high alcohol content. My friend is in the had the salmon poke bowl and another friend had the chicken salad bowl.
It's an outstanding restaurant. If it's your first time there and you like chicken, try Le Chevrier. It's his classic chicken burger and it's oh so good!! The owner has interesting and quirky names for all his dishes. I'd give this place 6 stars, really. Go experience it at least once, for me, I think I've become an addict. :)
The fried chicken sandwich was amazing! It's a cozy little place with a nice patio and rotating menu. Very unsuspecting and will certainly be back!
This is simply one of the best restaurants in the National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau). Their duck burger and fried chicken caesar salad are a must-try. The wine selection here is plentiful, rare, and exotic.
From opening day until now - every single item on the menu is phenomenal!
The BEST chicken sandwich in the city and surrounding area
(it changes every once in a while but the "Chevrier" was the greatest version)
I've made a point of trying everything the chef creates. I've eaten things that contain ingredients I don't like... and I loved it. That's how good it is.
Originality and flavour are the winning qualities here.
The chef can come across as a little extreme but his character grows on you with every visit.
Congrats on all your success!
