La Joie Shawarma

The best Shawarma place in town!???????? ???????? The portions in the plate are generous, reasonable for their lowest prices. I love their homemade hummus, sauces and pickles! Their potatoes and tabouleh are so tasty! The ingredients are always fresh, prepared daily, delicious chicken and beef shawarma! very friendly and fast service at handling long lineups at lunch time. My favourite place! I love it! Very clean. I totally recommend.

If i could give this place more, I would. I LOOOOOOVE La Joie Shawarma! You guys make SUCH delicious food. One of my favourite places to go for lunch.

The flavour was great and the service was kind, but the salad portions were STINGY AF. Barely any chicken. I was SO disappointed because I paid good money and basically got lettuce with a grain-sized amount of chicken. They were running out of meat and the line up was long so I guess this is why they cheaped out on the meat that day? Not sure. I was still starving after my salad and had to spend more money elsewhere to buy a real meal.

Anyways, I won't be back. No value for the money spent. It's unfortunate because the service is great and the food is tasty... Luckily, Adonis is just across the street and for $10 I got a salad with a hefty portion of protein and it filled me up from 11:30am to 6:00pm.

Ottawa has a lot of good places to go for shawarma. This is one of best on this side of the river. I am a regular and I am never disappointed. The portions are a little smaller than most shawarma houses but the price and quality more than makes up for it.
