    We visited Au Vieux Duluth this past Saturday...we ordered the filet mignon and shrimps and the shrimp dinner both were very good and the filet mignon cooked perfectly. Shrimps were done well and not overcooked. Overall the food was good and exceeded out expectations for a chain restaurant. We ordered for an appetizer the escargot which also was good but not enough garlic for our tastes but other than this aspect very good and tender. The atmosphere is good and seating is comfortable but if you are not in a booth it would be cramped and tables close together. Good value for the price and our server was very attentive and was bilingual no language problems as mentioned in other reviews. Overall quality of the food was good for the price.

    We absolutely loved our experience hosting our 70 person engagement party at this location. The service was impeccable, everyone ate in a timely manner and the food was hot and delicious for all. Our guests had a lovely evening. The owner is extremely helpful and accomodating and we never felt rushed! I highly recommend for any group event and I send my thanks once again to the wonderful staff!!
