La Pizzaiolle (Ville Mont-Royal)

Authentic Italian, Family Business I wholeheartedly endorse. The restaurant has two storeys for sitting, which makes a cozy place have room for a good-sized crowd. I came on a Saturday afternoon, and it was moderately busy for such a time.

I ordered a cocktail, which was delicious, if a little pricey, and the carbonera. But when arrived I was dismayed to see anchovies in it. I now know that this is the authentic way a carbonera dish is made. Lesson learned, don't order a meal if you don't understand the menu or what it is ????

The server was very kind when I explained my mistake, being unable to eat much of the pasta. She was happy to substitute a large Ceasar salad with chicken instead. I consider this to be service going above and beyond.

The salad came with freshly cooked chicken, seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of sauce for a very delicious, and large-portioned meal.

Overall, I can't find a fault in any aspect of my experience here. Highly recommended!

Cosy atmosphere, fast service, yumy hand made Wooden pizza, afordable prices.. I cant complain..????

The service was great & the pizza was super delicious. The pizza was not too heavy or too light. We liked the location in that it had been a train station stop once & there was lots of activity with people walking nearby & across the street at the park. Thanks so much!

Very first time. Looking at the pizza stove it starts off well. Nice service and good food. Seems to be a business or family oriented place.
