A cozy Italian restaurant in Cote-Saint-Luc offering quality food at a reasonable price.

I ordered the pizza and it was decent enough.the place was actually empty and the service was quick. The owner is served us and mentioned that he had the place for 26 years did he say?I think the place needs a paint job and some better lighting as it seems not to have been refurbished for quite some time. there was a neat-looking delivery lady so they seem to be doing a fair bit of take out and they were very kind to provide us with a quick pizza made in lightning speed time as my buddy with whom I was having supper, how to be somewhere else. They were fast and efficient. They weren't deterred by a slew of other clients as there were only two other tables of two older couples.

I remember the place for many years ago and it was always packed full of people. We probably went on an off time. I think it was a Sunday around 5:10 p.m. so that could explain the lack of clientele in the restaurant. The owner and when I was guessing was his son, seemed nice enough.
There was construction right in front of the place so that might have deterred some people.
In fact the yellow tape or whatever colour it was, marking off at construction, made it look more like a scene of police tape warning people off.
I enjoyed the pizza I had but the buddy with whom I had a fast bike for supper claims he wasn't particularly thrilled, but then he usually isn't.

“I dream of Carveli.” This is some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s a close-knit family business and they are both, very welcoming and willing to go the extra mile. The appetizer bread is a secret recipe, that will leave you wondering how they get it so perfect; the taste, the texture, the after-note. I highly recommend this restaurant, though it’s unfortunate that in hot weather, they don’t have air conditioning. Still, the food is 5/5. Mmm mmm good!

Don't let the exterior fool you! Really super nice staff and excellent food. The prices are very reasonable. I've been 4 or 5 times and always pass by when I'm in the neighborhood. Give them a try, nice homey atmosphere.
