I was in town for work and asked around to find out where to get the best pizza. I was sent to Coronet Pizza, and it did not disappoint!

I got the Angelo Special. It was delicious! Their meat sauce is different than any I had ever had before, but I am already craving it again (and it’s only been a day since I ate there).

The two brothers who manage and own the place (Jimmy and Angelo), are great! The atmosphere is exactly what I would hope for for a pizza joint that has been around since the ‘60’s with 2 brothers running it who are still passionate about what they do.

My son and I stumbled on this family owned restaurant of 57 years thanks to my friend google. We were in town for the grand prix. First of all the pizza is delicious with huge pepperoni. What’s even better is that it heated up nicely in the hotel microwave the next night which saved us from going out after a long day at the track. The family even gave us pointers on how to get around downtown Montreal which was a big help.

Great and unique pizza. The owner says he uses low fat high quality pepperoni. This shows in the lack of grease on the pizza. He also uses brown mushrooms, which works perfectly with the tomato sauce to provide a salty-sweet combination. The place has been there 50 years and, although renovated a small while back, still has that old vibe of when pizza was done the Montreal way. Yes, the crust is thick. The pizza box is taller just to accomodate it.

If you're looking for good old fashioned pizza, then Coroner pizza is for you. Very tasty, sweet pizza bread. Quick and friendly service. Decor is traditional Greek and simple. Parking on the street.
