El Meson

This place is amazing! The food is exceptional and the service outstanding. We showed up at 8:30 they were closing at 9, they still served us and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We ordered a meal that the waitress told us it takes 25-30minutes to cook, we said if it was okay with the chef if not we could change our order. The waitress did not come back to ask us to change orders and when we received our meal it was perfectly cooked! The quality of the food was incredible, the flavours were unbelievable. This has to be the best Mexican restaurant in Montreal! Probably even best outside of Mexico. I cannot wait to visit here again! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

If you're looking to eat like you would in Mexico, do yourself a favor and enjoy El Meson. We went couple of times and all is good every time. The owner is so nice and her staff too. The ambiance is cute and perfect for a date night!

We came on a Saturday, Family of six with my Ex, yes I know lol This was after the dance recital of my youngest! The lady was amazing, since she's there, customer service has changed greatly! More family feeling! Anyway we had many things on the menu, very satisfying. If you want a great drink, with very good food, in a exotic ambiance at a good price, GO for it you will not be disappointed ;/)

What an extraordinary gem. Fantastic cozy Mexican restaurant. All the dishes were delicious. We asked Elena and everything she recommended was a must. Splendid and welcoming service.

I stopped by with a friend to have a snack with a pitcher of Margarita. Everything was perfect and the Margarita was not too sweet and you can actually taste the tequila, unlike some other places. The food was tasty and fresh. The salsa that came with the nachos had the perfect amount of spice; not crazy hot ???? but with just the right amount of zing. The servers were prompt and attentive, but not overly so. This was the first time I was there & I will definitely go back!
