My wife and I enjoy having good food, and we sure have a lot of options in Montreal but we have a soft spot for the team at Les coudes sur la table. Chef Cedric is just awesome -- everything he makes is cooked perfectly and delicious -- and he can cook just about anything !, and Alexandre runs the front just as perfectly with his team.

When it came to selecting a venue for our wedding, we immediately thought of Les coudes sur la table even though it's not a common venue for this. When I say we enjoy having good food, what I really mean is that our wedding was meant to be around the dinner being the big event that we share with family & friends. The amount of people we could invite was around our venue selection and not the other way around -- so 51 we were!

From the start, Cedric & Alexandre were very engaged with creating a fantastic menu -- an epic one from the many comments we got that night! Lobster, scallops, cod, Angus beef, our wedding cake made out of cheese wheels, and a delicious dessert to top it of. Here's the full menu we worked on together:

    Appetizers (with cocktail) :

    Mains (with wine pairing):

I'm still amazed at how efficient everything went and everything was cooked to perfection and served expertly -- especially with so many courses and a full restaurant. Seriously, getting 150+ seared scallops to perfection at the same time is just blowing my mind (and everyone's palates !). They had several allergies & exceptions to handle and did so like masters.

Everyone there will forever remember this meal. Thanks to the whole team for making this night memorable!!

And of course, we enjoy going there any time for smaller / regular meals too!-- they are always so nice and the food's delicious. This is a very affordable French restaurant with a great private wine selection + cocktails. Either for simple dishes or complete table d'hôte, you can't go wrong.

For other details, there's easy & free street parking and it's close to Jacques-Cartier bridge, and it's about 10 minutes walk from Papineau metro. In the summer, they have an outside terrasse too.

We had a wine tasting menu there at my cousin's wedding. The food was amazing. It was prepared perfectly, and well seasoned. Service was excellent.

Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Great menu and concept where you can have any main dish as a Table d'Hôte for an extra fee. Good value and most importantly, excellent food and service. Everything is house-made and cooked to perfection. Menu seems to change seasonally.
