NirVana Sushi et Plus

Had a craving for some sushi and this is the first time I've been here. Very quick service, even though we were the only dine-in customers, there were a lot of take out orders.

We ordered the spicy salmon, a combo (#28) came with a nice assortment of makis, nigiris, and some chefs choice rolls, and the Nirvana eel special.

The chef/owner was very nice and it seems he's known with the locals.

Whenever I visit Montreal, I always make sure to eat here a couple times before I come back home. The tuna here is exceptional, it always tastes fresh (not a single trace of icky fishy taste) and has a nice vibrant pink color. Also, I recommend the rainbow roll if you have no idea what to order.

The first time I visited this place was during the spring of 2017, during my week in Montreal, I ate here as much as possible, and was never disappointed. Recently, I've had the privilege of being able to visit this place two more times, and I'm pleased to say that they've maintained their high standards for the 2 years I was unable to visit.

Great sushi place! prices were reasonable. The staff were super friendly and gave us samples to try before ordering. We ordered takeout and they presented it beautifully as you can see in the photo. Everything tasted great, will definitely be going again! :)
