Love this place! It is super small, so be prepared to wait and/or be seated next to people not in your party. You can watch them hand-prepare the noodles fresh. Soup was delicious. I would not recommend this place for people who like their own space while dining.
Great little spot!
The shop is small and there's always a line so expect a bit of wait, but it is very worth it!
The noodles are made fresh and has that great bite to it. There are a few spot that does fresh noodle too, but none really offer you the various style and texture.
The broth, it is one of the best need noodle broth in town and the noodles soak it up very well.
Average. Much of the very large bowl is liquid, with only a small amount of noodles and beef, even for a medium sized bowl. The soup tastes has too strong a sesame-oil-taste. The waiters are not unfriendly though. Also the ambiance and the decor is good. A bit too expensive and not worth the price.
The best meal I've had so far in Montereal was here. They make the noodles fresh, and I must say I haven't had better noodles since my visit to Japan a couple of years ago. Absolutely fantastic spicy noodle soup. Beware, the place is tiny so it would be bad for big groups. Best to go alone or as two.
First off, they’re noodles and broth is outstanding. That aside, everything is pretty expensive for a lunch. They have two different beef and noodles, the cheaper one tasting like scabs and gristle and the expensive one being really good: it costs 15$ though. In addition, the service isn’t all that great considering they really shake you down for tips by purposely giving me loose change instead of a 5$ bill and they telling me to leave a tip. When I left, they apparently told my friend that I didn’t leave a tip. All in all not bad, but I’d suggest going to Nu-Do in China town.
