Definitely not a fancy restaurant but a family owned authentic very good vegetarian/vegan indian at a very affordable price. Their thali is highly recommended. They also have a large pastries counter for those who like to finish on a sweet note. Everything is home made. The place has been renovated and the service is always friendly.

The food here is okay at best. It's basically Indian food on a budget. Oddly, the dishes here taste a lot better than their other place on Pare street (which was honestly the worst food I've ever had apart from the short eats/appetizers). The staff is friendly and attentive but don't expect too much. The dinning area was moderately spacious with clean washrooms. The best thing about any of the pushaps is their appetizers.

Great prices, and delicious food. If you want to pick up samosas, I suggest you call in advance and have them ready for you. They do a really great job when you order in advance and have your food ready and waiting. But because they're so good there they can sell out quickly! Enjoy
